In the war against colorectal cancer we need to go beyonf "screening".

By: Sergio Stagnaro - Fri 5/18/2007 PM
Sirs, I have just written to Gastroenterology Editorial Office what accounts for the reason we need new, bedside tools, reliable and applicable on very large scale in detecting SINCE BIRTH ALL individuals with colorectal cancer Real Risk. Firstly , NOT ALL individuals may be involved by malignancy, including colorectal cancer (See my website www.semeioticabiofisica.it, Oncological Terrain and Stagnaro-Neri M., Stagnaro S. Introduzione alla Semeiotica Biofisica. Il Terreno Oncologico. Ed. Travel Factory, Roma, 2004. http://www.travelfactory.it). As a matter of fact, analogously to type 2 diabetes (95% of all cases) only subjects positive for Dyslipidaemic "and" diabetic constitutions (Stagnaro S., Stagnaro-Neri M., Le Costituzioni Semeiotico-Biofisiche.Strumento clinico fondamentale per la prevenzione primaria e la definizione della Single Patient Based Medicine. Ed. Travel Factory, Roma, 2004. http://www.travelfactory.it) MAY becomes diabetic if they are involved SINCE BIRTH by "microcirculatory remodelling" in Langherans' islets,i.e., if they presents inherited diabetes Real Risk, based on newborne-pathological, type I, subtype b) Endoarteriolar Blocking Devices (www.semeioticabiofisica.it/microangiology, and Stagnaro S. Newborn-pathological Endoarteriolar Blocking Devices in Diabetic and Dislipidaemic Constitution and Diabetes Primary Prevention. The Lancet. March 06 2007. http://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/arti... totalcomments=1. Surely my theories are "challenge to peer-review Editors" (I keep all documents...)and Reviewers. However, we must admitte that today's screening for colorectal cancer is successless and uselessly expensive! It's time to change in the war against cancer.
